Frequently asked questions

Before you get started.

What is the difference between CloudMDR and MDR?

CloudMDR is the security operations platform bringing integrations, environment information, alerts and playbooks together. MDR (Managed Detection and Response) is the managed detection and response service delivered by the Cloudfence SOC. The platform can support your internal team through our support subscription; MDR is an optional managed service.

Do I need the Cloudfence SOC to use the platform?

No. The Wazuh support and maintenance subscription includes CloudMDR and can support your IT, security or internal SOC team. Cloudfence supports Wazuh, integrations and alerts within scope; your team retains operational control.
